Each month, members of the Reparative Cataloging Subgroup take turns sharing news related to reparative cataloging and recent updates to the Library of Congress Subject Headings (LCSHs). Here is what’s been happening in the last few months:

The subgroup is aware and actively working on addressing how the recent name changes for the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America and Denali back to Mt. McKinley affects our records as a consortium. More information about this matter will be addressed at a later time.

WRLC SACO Funnel:
Steps to develop a SACO Funnel at WRLC are underway!
On February 13th, a virtual Lunch & Learn event on SACO was held, going over the basics of what SACO is and what to expect being a part of a SACO Funnel.
Video records and slides will be available on Basecamp at a later time.
